Harjot Singh

I have always believed that success is not just about what you achieve but how you achieve it. The texture of the journey matters: how decisions are made, how people are treated, and whether the work being done leaves something useful behind. This instinct has shaped both my professional choices and the way I live.

Professionally, I am the Director of JIS Group, Kolkata, where I work across education, real estate, and infrastructure. I am also involved in long-term planning for the Group, and have worked closely on financial structuring, negotiations, and operational discipline that have contributed to sustained growth and improved profitability.

Outside of work, I am deeply intentional about how I use my time and energy. Fitness is at the forefront of my daily lifestyle. Mental well-being is just as important to me. At JIS Group, this has meant encouraging conversations around balance and introducing practices like guided meditation sessions. Not as grand gestures, but as simple signals that well-being is not an afterthought.

My formative years were shaped by a mix of structure and exposure. Schooling at La Martiniere for Boys in Kolkata gave me early grounding in leadership and teamwork, while studying Business Management at Queen Mary University of London, followed by a Master’s in Management at Regent’s University, expanded my worldview. Living away from home taught me self-reliance and sharpened my ability to listen, adapt, and question my own assumptions.

I remain committed to learning — not in a formal, box-ticking way, but through conversations, reading, and paying attention to people who see the world differently. I also try to give time where I can, particularly in volunteering initiatives linked to youth development and youth education. These are not side projects for me; they are extensions of how I think responsibility should work.

At this stage of my life, I’m most interested in building alignment, between work and values, ambition and well-being, effort and impact. If there is a thread running through everything I do, it is the belief that leadership should feel human, grounded, and quietly accountable.

With over two decades of experience in logistics, infrastructure development, and operations management, Harjot Singh has been the architectural force behind Global LogInfra's 40-acre facility vision. His deep expertise in warehouse design, supply chain optimisation, and industrial real estate helped the company rapidly secure partnerships with India's largest FMCG and retail brands.

Prior to co-founding Global LogInfra LLP, he led operations across multiple large-scale logistics parks in Eastern India, earning a reputation for execution excellence and infrastructure innovation. His philosophy — that logistics infrastructure is the backbone of a thriving economy — is embedded in every square foot of the Kolkata facility.
